Professional Experience
Carol provides analytical and investigative services in the areas of forensic accounting, litigation support, and bankruptcy. Clients served include individuals and corporations, the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”), the Federal Trade Commission (the “FTC”), bankruptcy trustees and examiners, creditors’ committees, court-appointed assignees and financial institutions. Relevant case experience includes the areas of investment funds, healthcare, telecommunications, restaurant and entertainment industries, construction and real estate.
While at K&C, Carol’s specific case experience includes assisting the court-appointed receiver and the SEC in the investigation of hedge funds with over $1 billion in invested capital and assisting the court-appointed receiver and the FTC in the assessment of multi-million dollar consumer losses associated with deceptive and illegal telecommunications practices.
She has spoken to various groups including the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors, Barry University Graduate Accounting Program and Florida Atlantic University Undergraduate Accounting Program.
